The specific pay rate/salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a number of factors including experience, education, specialized certifications from OEMs, and where the job is located.

The Director of ADAS and Mechanical Operations oversees the entire operational business of our ADAS and Mechanical departments.  The position reports directly to our CEO and is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic operational processes while ensuring profitability.

Job Responsibilites

  • Responsible for the internal team that is performing precise calibration for all types of ADAS equipment across most vehicle makes and models. In addition to technical knowledge, supervisory skills, and attention to detail are required.

 

  • Pre/Post scanning management
    • Set up training and expectations in all locations for scanning. Ensure that all team members are following the process of reviewing the calibration reports and pre/post-scanning every vehicle.

 

  • Scan/Calibration tracking/performance
    • Using Excel / CCC one, and remote scan company data. Compile daily/weekly/monthly volume and compliance tracking reports for the leadership team and managers.

 

  • Calibrations
    • Implement calibrations in every market. Using Tru-point, OEM, and other targeting systems.

 

  • Transition new VIVE acquisitions into the scanning and calibration process. This involves training all team members on VIVE scanning/calibration programs.

 

  • Hiring, training, and managing the calibration team

 

  • Manage diagnostic vendors and costs

Skills and Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of ADAS / Calibration procedures, processes

High-level ability to motivate, train and hold teammates accountable

Identifying areas of opportunity for department growth and training

Extremely collaborative and relationship-building is a must
